How many times have you been with friends recounting stories about something that happened to you in the past. Do you realize that the best stories are always the ones that at the time felt like you were in a nightmare? Isn’t it the comments that you receive of “Oh my god how did you get out of that?” or “And you’re laughing about that now?” Because no matter what happened in the past you always learn from it and look at it from the entire picture of beginning (Choice), middle (Pain), Afterwards (Learning).
I have made some horrendous decisions in my life which have led to some pretty scary, frightening, unbelievable and every other kind of description, but because of those I am, in my a opinion, a better person for it. This is why I find it sad hearing about people who are afraid of life, afraid of rejection or afraid of failure because it is those things that make you, as an individual, have a better understanding of yourself and where you fit into the world.
Which is why today I wanted to include two quotes, the one above and one from the Dalai Lama, “Take into account that great love and great achievements involve great risk.” Follow your heart today and do whatever you want to do, It is your life and your world, go and sieze every experience.
