“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.”
This is a quote that I have to keep with me, always. I am not one for really dwelling in the past but I do dream a lot about the future possibilities. I find I can spend numerous hours just lost in my imagination living different possibilities. This is very handy when you are stuck in an airport for many hours waiting for a flight but can be a little misplaced when things need to be done.
Concentration and focus are incredibly gifts and often not valued enough. I would rather work with someone who is good but works hard than a genius who wastes his talent, for me there is no excuse for not, at least, trying to be the best you can at everything you put your mind to.
